Question i have some questions about clandestine synthesis of amphetamine sulfate

Hi everyone, im new here and im a beginner so I have some stupid question, idk if someone ever asked them but anyway, lets begin !

it is better to have a elrlenmeyer and to heat on a hob, or a flat bottom flask and heat in a water bath? I think the flat bottom flask is better because there is more heating contact than erlenmeyer, im right?

I really need a condenser and others stuff? If I dont have, my yield will be less high isnt it?

Actually it's his own thread.
I rather have someone asking stupid questions than not asking them at all and putting himself on risk. Those who got time for stupid question answer them and those who don't do not.
The set-up I recommended would be for a little more than a 1g/2g sulphate scale. For those reactions you'd actually ot need a overhead stirrer as they are required for bigger quantities (which you can read, if you read about different chemical stirrers). Smaller volumes can be stirrer with a magnetic stirrer.
I think you shouldn't jump into synthesizing too quickly. Don't underestimate it and the research is better done before, than after

Ok, but there are legit questions that just fall down the page while we keep bumping nonsense about flask choice. I mean, maybe just maybe you recommend some text books before you tell them to set up a lab.

Now that's said, can we stop teaching prep school science and get back into actually developing some of the posted proceedures. Because let's face it, some of the copy paste methods are very misleading.

I do, I do some research, but I need answers from other people to see what people think, if I wanted to do what I saw, I will buy a 1L round flask, and other stuff in the amphetamine synthesis and thats it, but I need answers from other chemists
