my precipitation goes green instead of white , I need a better acidification method, i can’t buy equipment right now

Would you like to share more details, such as what solvent and reagents you used, what kind of acid, the quantities, what steps you took and the duration of each step, etc?

I used toluene
300ml mixed with 2b4m and 200ml methylamine aqueous 40%

stirred for 3hours at 60 degrees

for acidification i used a syringe with mixture of 35 hcl and 175 acetone

first it became brown , than dark , than green , the texture seems correct, the color is just green

just did , i have one that is blue and one that is pink
