You should write the pathways you are expecting. Ammonium sulfate and sodium hydroxide=sodium sulfate, ammonia gas, and water. I struggle to see a path from there to lithium aluminum hydride. Add lithium and you have sodium lithium sulfate

Admittedly I've never considered any methods like this because pseudoephedrine is practically unobtainium, but I've read a couple tutorials and they were mostly instructions that offered little insight into what the specifics of this chain reaction 1 bottle method is. You need AA Energizer batteries, not cell phone batteries. They have different battery chemistry.

The only batteries you should use are Energizer Ultimate Lithium. This way you'll be able to follow nearly every procedure ever outlined by anyone who published it online. Search the internet for videos explaining how to extract the lithium strips. If you decide to buy elemental sodium metal, you have to adjust the amount you use. I've never calculated the amount needed for this type of reaction, nor have I seen the information provided by anyone else.

I kept the nickel one in the list, but I realize we only care about lithium here...
Still, there is a few choice and I wonder what difference it makes for SnB.

Easier to do a proper birch. So you can calculate your reaction and get a good yield/product.
Seems this method depends on a lot guess work if you do not calculate everything properly.
Guessing is not very safe/healthy...

I can think of stupider reactions. This is Methamphetamine's claim to fame. This is what made meth popular. If you have 30 pieces of kit and you are making meth with it, that's insulting. Make some 4-mar or something more powerful and interesting
