Question Best solvent for meth safe not bad smelling.

Hello I would like to discuss possible solvents usage as replacement of stinky long evaporating T.(Toluene) to for example extract ephedrine from pills

-What is most suitable solvent for dissolving pseudo/ephedrine without this unholy stink and also one that evaporates all within hour's maximally day, two (two are worse, but manageable.
- Also some that is non toxic to cats for example.
- Can be used indoors, without factory grade lab.
- Isn't unbelievably hard to obtain
- Isn't much much more expensive than T.

My idea was some sort of ether extract or chloroform, but I'm not sure in these.

Diethyl ether and chloroform got me because they are easy to obtain. Chloroform actually improves the taste imo

Pure toluene has pretty acceptable odour.
You can purify your shitty technical grade solvent by at least fractional distillation.
Then you can compare odour of pure stuff with that leftover shit in the flask.
