Can anyone help? Tryptamine

Hey guys,
So Iv been trying to decarboxylate tryptophan to get tryptamine, only I keep failing.
I saw a great way of crashing the tryptamine out of solution after it had finally gone into solution (by using the benzoate salt then unsalting before use)
Anyway, all I got was gunk again!
Its so irritating that I’m tempted to buy some - all I want is like an oz of it though, even half I don’t want to have to buy a kilo…also I’m in the UK.
Anyway; I’m confident I could do the reductive amination once I have tryptamine. I’m much more interested in the DMT anologues Than I am about DMT - it just happens to be a massive bonus!
Anyway, thanks iv been using turpentine as my solvent and as my catalyst iv been using varying quantities of cyclohexanone - or I did do it once with an excess of the mint oil. I run it until no more Co2 evolves and it goes all clear but red. Iv not yet managed to recover any usable tryptamine though….please help me!

Why bother?... Sorry, got ahead of myself, I know it is attainable but I can't seem to see the point when actual tryptamine isn't impossible to come across and not nearly as expensive as reproducing decarboxylative preparations which with respect to Trp are from my experience a great waste of time, effort and reagents. Just to aid you in your path put thermal decarboxylation out of your plans and go for catalytic methods as well as keep your hopes modest for the reductive amination, tryptamine chemistry requires some skill. Cheers!
